Young adult author Emily Franklin will speak to aspiring young authors and answer questions at the Library on Tuesday, May 22 at 7:00 p.m., in Druker Auditorium. This open forum, followed by a book signing, will begin with a brief reading from her Principles of Love series. This event is not just for fans of the series, but also for teen writers interested in the book publishing business. Teens are encouraged to read one of Franklin’s books before the session.
The program is sponsored by Newton Girl Scout Cadet Troupe 3039 and their leader, Toni Rosenberg, and is being funded through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners with funds from LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act), a Federal source of library funding.
