Need something new to read?

See our latest blog, Newton Reads

There you’ll find book reviews from staff and patrons–you can add comments or your own reviews.  At the top of the blog page you’ll find handy links to our other services for readers:  BookLetters, our Books for You recommendation service, the NoveList database  (Home Access | In Library Access), and our Readers’ Advisory Knapsack blog chock full of links to websites with reading ideas.

Also try our latest Ejournal, BookPage: America’s Book Review, with reviews linked to our catalog listings.

And when you’re in the library, visit the constantly-changing display on our new “Staff Recommends” shelves, at the entrance to the New Books room on the first floor.  We’ll put out books we like–tell us if you agree!

I think this is great! I’m slow getting to it apparently but I am an instant convert. I love your cookbook idea, your weblinks and the books for you. I got to it after Nancy’s talk at RefComm – i wanted to look at that bulletin-board-like page. Very nice indeed.
