Chinese language magazines online

Qikan Library (DragonSource) (Home Access Only)

Through DragonSource, Chinese language readers of different ages and levels can read over 100 full-text popular magazines published in China, and enjoy reading articles in either traditional or simplified characters. The database includes an array of publications covering fashion, travel, business, sports, current affairs, entertainment and the arts, health, children’s literature, and other areas of interest. Coverage is from 2005 to the present.

A Massachusetts library card is required for access. You may need to install a language pack to view Chinese characters; the database should prompt you if you need to do this.

This database is funded by the Boston Public Library.
